• I could see myself as a director, I am good at making my sister express feelings and body language. As they say a picture tells a thousand words. I like to portray expressions in my work. In these pictures that I took, I wanted to portray my sister as Alice who eventually found a way to escape the manor. I have portrayed Alice as the warrior, the survivor, now in power. Angelina Jolie is one of my favourite actors of all time. I really like how she is portrayed as a strong independent woman in most of the films she stars in. She is in a lot of action films, I feel like the story I am trying to portray in my painting could be an action film. If I was to make it into a film, I would definitely request Angelina Jolie to star as the main character.

• In this story board it represents her moving on with the future and putting aside the battles she had to contend with in the past.

• I put together an outfit that brought out colour, fire, spirit and freedom. It’s an old designer jacket of mums. Desigual is the name of the brand. I like how it has rich colours, different kinds of fabric. It reminds me of Japanese fashion. The collars, the vibrant colours and florals.
